Get Involved
The Van Zandt Stewards’ mission is to build community in the South Fork (Nooksack) Valley and Kulshan Foothills. We do this by managing, maintaining and improving the Van Zandt Community Hall, and by offering a wide range of community programs and events. We also host KAVZ 102.5 FM, and distribute a monthly e-newsletter with locally relevant information. Community participation is required to care for the Hall and adjacent park, and to deliver vibrant programs and events. Here’s how you can get involved:
Volunteer at the Hall
Volunteers take many roles from helping to set up and break down public events, assisting with maintenace of the hall and park, managing youth or senior programs, helping with social media and managing the Everybody’s Market. These are great ways to meet neighbors in a role you choose. Have fun, and support the community. We can’t wait to meet you.
