Get Involved
The Van Zandt Stewards’ mission is to build community in the South Fork (Nooksack) Valley and Kulshan Foothills. They do this by managing, maintaining and improving the Van Zandt Community Hall, and by offering a wide range of community programs and events. They also host KAVZ 102.5, and distribute a monthly e-newsletter with locally relevant information. Community participation is required to care for the Hall and adjacent park, and to deliver vibrant programs and events. Here’s how you can get involved:
Volunteer at the Hall
Volunteers help set up and break down public events, maintain the Hall and Josh VanderYacht Park, and manage youth and senior programs and Everybody’s Market. It’s a simple way to meet neighbors, have fun, and support the community.

Sign up here for the South Fork Scoop, a monthly e-newsletter with curated, helpful information about upcoming events and programs at the Van Zandt Hall, around the Foothills, and at local libraries, schools and churches.
