Rent the Hall
The Van Zandt Community Hall is available to rent for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, reunions, and other special events. The Hall has central heating and air conditioning, a basic kitchen with dishes, glasses and utensils, versatile set-up options with a maximum capacity of 100 people, ADA-compliant restrooms, tables and chairs, and audio visual equipment.
Josh VanderYacht Memorial Park is directly behind the Van Zandt Hall and accessible to Hall renters and the general public. The park features a playground, pickleball and basketball courts, and a large, custom-crafted gazebo with a cozy interior fireplace/barbecue and picnic tables. The gazebo may be rented for private events, but the park is public and may not be reserved or closed to the public.
Pricing
Hall Rental $30/hour or $250/day ($150 for 6 hours/half day)
$200 refundable cleaning/repair deposit. If costs exceed this amount, the renter is responsible for any other costs at $100/hr labor rate and/or replacement costs.
Events larger than 50 people: please contact us for rates.
Gazebo (up to 30 people) – $50/day
If you wish to rent the hall for an event, please book an appointment to talk to one of our team members who can work with you to determine your needs. After scheduling the meeting you will be directed to fill out a form providing information about the type of meeting and you may identify and request an available time on the hall calendar.
